Friday Professor McArdle mentioned he used Twitter. Now I don't know to much about Twitter myself, but I have basic idea of what it is from random bits of hearing about it in the news. Some politicians were using it during a meeting or something. Anyways a few weeks ago there was a featured video on youtube that was about Twittering. When Professor McArdle mentioned he used it all I could think of was this video.

i only use it as a means to link articles to other people in rhet/comp - that way we create an online database of research - no one that i follow posts updates that they are walking their dog or hanging at the beach (i like the one where the girl says she just found a parking space - good stuff)
